Red Sand Black Moon: Sambre, the Amazon: Fight two!

The date, February 983. The locale, a wooden arena in the Border Kingdom. The combatants, Sambre (Savvy 5, Strength 4, Speed 5) versus a skilled soldier (Savvy 5, Strength 5, Speed 5 with a sword and light armor).

The cold winds blew across the arena floor, still frozen from the winter. Two warm bodies entered the arena with one thing on their minds, getting out alive. As is custom, the scantly clad slave girl signaled the beginning of the fight, hoping for a quick victory so she didn't freeze to death.
The fighters!

Fightin' Fungi
A new Kickstarter out there for some really cool fungusmen miniatures!! But that's not all, you can also get the rules for "Fightin' Fungi," a standalone game based on the Song of Blades and Heroes skirmish game engine. Personally, I've pledged at "Mature Spore" to receive a PDF and a hard copy of the rules. They can be used either by themselves or you can use them to expand on the Song of Blades and Heroes, which is what I'll be using them for. The new advanced magic system really caught my eye and I can't wait to try them out!!

Just me, my dice, and a solo pen and paper session...

So tonight, I decided to try something a bit different. About a year ago I came across a small community of RPG players that enjoy all manner of solitaire pen and paper games.I always wanted to give it a go myself but it seemed every time I did, I was unsuccessful but this time, I decided I'd give it a good try and I'm pretty happy with the results, if they are a bit rough. I had fun, that's all that matters! If you're interested, then read on, if not, scroll on by. :)
