Quick Review of Room Cards for Four Against Darkness

Standard Rooms

No time to draw up your dungeons? If you're like me, you want more immersion into your games but can't draw very well. Enter the Room Cards and the Egyptian Style Room Cards!

These are pretty simple to use; print them out in PDF format, cut them up, put them in standard size sleeves (optional but recommended for shuffling), and start creating a dungeon. Make sure to start with one of the six initial rooms for your entrance (the ones marked E), putting the other five aside. Then draw a new card for each room/corridor you enter. Rooms are marked with an R and corridors an H (for hallway). Just line up the connecting passageways.

Egyptian Themed Rooms

Pros:

-My biggest pro here is that you can limit the size of your deck so your games are adjustable. Want a smaller dungeon, go with around 15-18 cards plus the entrance. If you want a huge sprawling dungeon, use all the cards! Print off more to make the endless dungeon of your dreams!

-Nice artwork on the cards. You get a bit more detail with the Egyptian themed ones but the Standard Deck is pretty as well.

-Quicker than hand drawing your own rooms.

-Only $3.00 each!

Cons:

-Not very portable so plan ahead if you are going to be on the move or have split sessions.

-I wish these could be available in print form. I suppose you could find a printing company that prints cards but that ups the cost.
