Rules Used |
So far it has been a heck of a journey. A lot of battles and a lot of blogging on the quest for the Eternal Father statue. So let us conclude with Shen and Phineas' adventure!
Our band of not so great heroes:

Shen Rep 5 AC 2 Star Thief (smooth, clumsy) |

Phineas Rep 4 AC 2 Grunt Soldier (Hard as Nails) |
The very last encounter is carousing with the employer, the caster, being the last PEF resolved so we can collect our reward. With this much IRD (increasing rep d6), we'll definitely trade some in for goods. I will make a small change in the PEF generator, 1-3 Capalan League, 4-5 Terekens, and 6 Dwarves (1-4) or Elves (5-6). There will be 4 PEF's to resolve. It is during the daytime.
PEF 1: Two Capalan Leaguers, a rep 4 ac 6 knight (no attribute) and a rep 3 ac 2 shooter. The knight looks like good fighting stock. Let's see where it gets me. Interacting I passed 1d6 more and can further interact with lower reps. I also gain an additional IRD. I decide to go for it and recruit the knight, success! I decide it's a she and her name is Hadia. Welcome to the band!

Hadia Rep 4 AC 6 Grunt Knight |
PEF 2: Resolves as one slow mover Tereken. He is a rep 4 ac 2 warrior. I decide to interact with no intention of taking this fellow. I pass 1d6 more and gain another IRD. We have a laugh and move on.
PEF 3: Another single Tereken, a rep 4 ac 2 warrior with the smooth attribute. A lot of smooth operators in this quest! Let's see who is smoother, Shen or this guy. We pass the same d6 and exchange pleasantries. So it was a tie on the smooth-off.

"Well, did you retrieve the statue?!" |
PEF 4: Finally, the caster. The man we've been on this quest for what feels like a month!
In the corner sat the old wizard. Shen slammed the statue down on the table and the man seated at the table grinned. "This better be worth it! We lost two good people on this "quest" of yours. So now pay up."
The wizard looked up from the statue with sharp glassy eyes. "Indeed! A loss of a couple adventurers, such as your self, is of no consequence." Shen had to be held back by Phineas. The old man chuckled. "However, here is your payment" the man said placing a rather heavy sack of gold on the table and pushing it towards Shen.
Can't forget the chance of robbery, which Shen passes easily.
So we receive 4 IRD for his rep and another 4 for each wandering encounter it took to find the dungeon. So that's a total of 20 IRD in payment! Let's tally up all the IRD and DRD. The IRD pool is at 38, which is looted items, finished encounters, etc. Shen got to keep his interaction IRD/DRD since he was the leader, that's why there was such a discrepancy between Shen and Phin. Any kills went to the appropriate character as personal IRD.
Shen has a total of 30 IRD and 13 DRD, which equals 17 IRD. You can convert IRD up to your current rep so I will convert 5 IRD into gold coins. I will roll to increase rep with the other 12 d6. No surprise, it only took four rolls to increase Shen to rep 6!
Phineas has a total of 24 IRD and 1 DRD for a total of 23 IRD. Phin will roll 19 after converting 4 into coins. Phin only needed to roll 5 or 6 and got it on the second try so Phineas is now rep 5!
Phineas 4 gold
Ok, so here's a recap on the current stats of my band:
Shen Rep 6 AC 2 Star Thief (smooth, clumsy): 5 gold
Phineas Rep 5 AC 2 Grunt Soldier (Hard as Nails): 4 gold
Hadia Rep 4 AC 6 Grunt Knight: 0 gold
Thanks for reading!
